TAIWCCS HISTORY

The Turkish American Women's Cultural & Charitable Society was formed in January 1950 to foster and promote bicultural, educational and social exchanges between Turkish and American women. Thoughout the years, greater understanding and friendship has developed as a result of these ties. In May of 2006, the word "International" was added to our name, and we now have a more expanded membership of women from a variety of countries.
